We also run special programs designed to inspire and equip girls to lead in technical fields. Alongside technical training, students learn internet safety, AI ethics, and responsible digital citizenship.
Our impact is visible: many alumni now work with leading tech companies across The Gambia, contributing to the nation’s digital economy. In our labs and classrooms, students create projects like smart agricultural robots, IoT health monitors, and drone mapping solutions to address challenges in agriculture, healthcare, education, and the environment.
With cutting-edge tools such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), we transform traditional classrooms into fully interactive STEM spaces where ideas become real products and solutions.
Achievements: Kids In Technology has earned national and international recognition, including 1st Place at the Pan African Robotics Competition (2025), the National Youth Award – Fatim Badjie Tech Award (2024), the PARC Star League Winner Award (2022), and a Gold Medal at the International Creativity and Innovation Award (ICIA).

PARC 2024 was highly competitive, pushing our students to their limits. Despite the pressure, our young innovators showcased their skills in robotics and problem-solving, earning a 5th Place finish. This result fueled our determination to come back even stronger.
The competition was intense, but our team’s strong foundation in programming, electronic design, and logical thinking set us apart. Kids In Technology proudly brought home 1st Place, making The Gambia shine on the continental stage.
Kids In Technology was proudly chosen by CRYA to host the International Creativity and Innovation Award in The Gambia. As part of this initiative, we trained children from different schools across the country in robotics and creative problem-solving. The program gave Gambian students a platform to showcase their talents on an international stage, proving that young people in The Gambia can compete and shine globally in technology and innovation.
Kids In Technology is honored to be selected as the National Selection Partner for AI for Good in The Gambia. Through this initiative, we trained students from 8 schools in coding and robotics, equipping them with the skills to apply technology for positive impact. The program culminated in a national competition where the two winning teams from the junior and senior categories proudly traveled to Geneva, Switzerland, to represent The Gambia at the AI for Good Challenge alongside other African countries.
Through our STEM in Schools Program, we have successfully introduced robotics and coding into 5 schools across The Gambia. For many students, this was their first-ever experience with programming and robotics at an early age. The program is transforming education by moving from traditional teaching to hands-on, skills-based learning, inspiring students to explore the limitless possibilities of technology.
